Batty’s Coordinates Plus – mod for Minecraft 1.16.4/1.10.2 improves coordinates and stopwatch combined. The X, Y, and Z coordinates that define the player’s position in the world are usually displayed on the F3 Debug screen. This mod has several display modes that present this and more discreetly in the corner of the main game screen, so you don’t have to leave F3 open to see them.

Betty’s coordinates:
In mode 0 the coordinates are hidden.

Mode 1 shows the X, Y and Z coordinates, and also indicates the direction you are looking in in terms of compass direction.

Mode 2 adds an indication of whether your X and Z coordinates will increase or decrease as you move in the direction you are looking in.

Mode 3 also displays the biome you are in below the coordinates.

Added a Minecraft day counter labeled “dy” in Mode 4.

Mode 5 replaces the usual X, Y and Z coordinates with the fragment information:

This shows which chunk you are in and which block in that snippet.

A display will appear where the block is indicated by the letter “c” and the block by the letter “b”, for example:

X = block 9 in block -10
Z = block 0 in block 2
Betty Stopwatch Timer:

A hidden timer, hidden in the corner of the screen, which you can hide, reappear, stop, start and reset by pressing keys.

Can be used to measure time in the game. Useful for speed tests.

Shows the elapsed time in hours, minutes and seconds.

It is color coded so you know right away if it is stopped or running.

Information panel:

This display will show either FPS, block light level, or moon phase. You can switch between them at the touch of a button.

FPS display: number
the frames per second that the game is running at is displayed in the corner of the screen.

Block Lighting: Displays the block light (i.e. artificial light reaching that block) of the block the player is standing on.

Moon phase:
an icon showing the current moon phase is displayed.

All controls use NumPad keys (be sure to enable NumLock!)

NOTE 1 Coordinates can be displayed:

  • Top left
  • In the upper right corner
  • Bottom right

NOTE 2 The timer may appear:

  • Top left
  • Upper center
  • In the upper right corner
  • Bottom right
  • Bottom left

NOTE 3 An information panel may appear:

  • Top left
  • Upper center
  • In the upper right corner
  • Bottom right

NOTE 4 . All control keys can be completely reconfigured through the in-game options menu.

NOTE 5 . The screen layout and display modes are remembered when you exit Minecraft.

Custom colors:

Mod parameter settings are stored in the Forge config file in the / config folder. This file is called coordinatesplusmod.cfg.

You can customize the colors in which Batty’s coordinates and timer are displayed on the screen.

This is done by creating a small file named in the .minecraft folder.

If this file is not present, all displays will have default colors.

The following lines are allowed in the file:

  • Coords.shade =
  • Coords.chars.Increase =
  • Coords.chars.Decrease =
  • Coords.colours.TitleText =
  • Coords.colours.PosCoordText =
  • Coords.colours.NegCoordText =
  • Coords.colours.PosChunkText =
  • Coords.colours.NegChunkText =
  • Coords.colours.CoordText =
  • Coords.colours.CompassText =
  • Coords.colours.BiomeText =
  • Coords.copy.tpFormat =
  • Timer.shade =
  • Timer.colours.Stopped =
  • Timer.colours.Running =
  • Info.shade =
  • Info.colours.FPS =
  • Info.colours.Bright =
  • Info.colours.Dim =
  • Info.colours.Moon =

NOTE 1: PosCoordText and NegCoordText can be used to distinguish positive and negative coordinates from each other by giving them different colors.

NOTE 2: you can still use CoordText and this will override whatever you put in PosCoordText and NegCoordText.

NOTE 3: You can select a symbol that indicates whether your X or Z coordinates are increasing or decreasing. The default is ‘+’ and ‘-‘, but when using Coords.chars.Increase or. Decrease can be replaced with another symbol.

NOTE 4: You can choose the colors displayed in block coordinates, positive and negative.

NOTE 5: You can copy the coordinates to the clipboard in the standard format “x = 999, y = 99, z = 999” or in the command / tp format “999 99 999” using the Coords.copy.tpFormat parameter. Setting this value to true will force it to use the / tp command format.

NOTE 6: Info.colours.Dim selects the color to be displayed at light level 7 and below, and Info.colours.Bright selects the color to be displayed at light level 8 or above.

Full list of recognized colors:

Note: you must enter all entries exactly as they appear here – in upper and lower case letters – otherwise they will be ignored and the game will use the default colors.
